Renoir painted female nudes throughout his career and through these you can trace the many changes in his style. Nude In Sunlight is a classic Impressionist painting made outdoors. It looks more natural than later works such as The Bathers. This marked a move away from Impressionism and was obviously painted in a studio. He often painted with Monet. There are paintings like La Grenouillere and The Path Through The Long Grass where they each painted the same view in their own way.
